Logs Menu
The items on the Logs Menu give you access to everything about Program Logs.
- Log Editor opens the VT Log Editor, which lets you manually edit a program log, usually the last step before a log is printed and/or exported to automation.
- Log Maintenance opens the VT Log Maintenance dialog, where you maintain the things that actually structure the logs – log templates, simulcast periods and the like.
- Log Availabilities opens the Log Availabilities dialog, used to trigger an immediate update for the Avails Data for Log Actuals.
- Log Avail Codes opens the Log Avail Setup dialog, where you can create or edit the avails used to create AvailSets on a log template.
- Log Directives opens the Log Directive Setup dialog, where you can define or edit the Log Directives or instructions that VT can send to your automation system.
- Log Events opens the Log Event Setup dialog, used to define or edit Log Events, the building blocks from which log templates are built.
- Log Event Groups opens the Log Event Group Setup dialog, used (you guessed it) to create or edit groups of log events to provide multi-event scheduling targets.
- Log Notes opens the Log Note Setup dialog, used to create or edit notes that may be inserted into a printed log.
- Export Log opens the Log Export Parameters dialog, the starting point for exporting program log information to your digital automation system.
- Reconcile Log opens the VT Log Reconciliation dialog, where you can reconcile what your automation system actually played with what VT told it to play.
