A Log Avail is a name given to a unit within an AvailSet. An AvailSet is simply a grouping of log avails which you may also think of as a "break" or "stopset." Avail Codes
When a Log Avail (or available position) is placed in an AvailSet, a single commercial, promo, PSA or any pre-defined item may be scheduled automatically into this position by Visual Traffic. The Avail Code entered on the broadcast order must match the Log Avail. An order using a different Avail Code
Avail Code Flags (at the bottom of the dialog) determine whether the avail (unit) is to be included in the actuals and projections (spot inventory reports). The avail code flags include or exclude the avail unit and time on the actuals and projections.
Actuals refers to scheduled spots on active logs or on the bump list. Projections are based upon the order. Projections Do not exist as "actual" spots until the log they would be scheduled on is brought online. At that point, a spot that was previously "projected" becomes an "actual" spot.
