Setup Menu

The Setup menu of Visual Traffic contains functions that allow you to perform certain setup operations and to configure certain system functions.

• Edit Salesperson - The Salesperson Maintenance dialog, allows you to enter information regarding all members of the sales department.
• Edit Sales Groups - The Sales Groups Setup dialog is used to create or edit the Sales Groups.
• Edit Agencies - The Agency Setup dialog provides for entry and maintenance of advertising agencies, including names, addresses, phone, FAX numbers, and other significant information like dates and contact names.
• Corporation - The information entered in the Corporation Setup Dialog relates to your company.
• Commissions and Discounts - The Commissions & Discounts Setup dialog is used to set up and maintain all definitions for commissions and discounts.
• Document Groups - Document Groups are used with some printing functions within Visual Traffic.
• Spot Types - You can use Spot Types as a method of identifying spot pattern and billing definitions using any naming conventions you need.
• Cart Parameters - When VT assembles a program log, each spot that is scheduled has to have a corresponding "cart", which represents the material that actually airs for that spot.
• Edit Stations - Station Setup is used to define the individual stations for which VT can generate logs.
• Station Combo Groups - A Station Combo Group contains one or more members of a Statement Group, and once defined, can be used to enter spot patterns for multiple stations.
