Multiple salespeople may be involved in a larger sales project. Sales Groups may be created consisting of any or all of the existing salespersons, and these groups can then be handled as if they were individual salespeople. This Sales Groups Setup dialog is accessed from the VT System Menu, and is used to create or edit the Sales Groups.
Once defined, Sales Groups can be assigned to accounts, just like individual salespeople. However, you can not assign a sales goal to a sales group. If you want to establish goals, you must enter them for the individual Salespeople. See Sales Goals for Salesperson for more information.
