Station Setup is used to define the individual stations for which VT can generate logs. There are three tabs to this dialog, and information must be entered on each of them. This first tab includes the basic name, address and phone number information, as well as controls for the automatic calculation of log avails. Although there is no software limitation to the number of stations you may have in VT, your license with Marketron Broadcast Solutions limits you to a specific number of stations. If you attempt to add a new station that exceeds your current license agreement, the following message is displayed: "You have reached the maximum number of Stations allowed by your Visual Traffic License. If more Stations are required, contact your sales representative at Marketron Broadcast Solutions." Your license can easily be extended for additional stations.
All stations in VT belong to a single Statement Group. VT billing is performed by these groups rather than by station. You may have as many Statement Groups as you need, but each station can belong to only one group, and once assigned to a group, cannot be reassigned. If you are planning on adding a station, decide before doing so whether the station will be placed under an existing Statement Group or whether you will need to create a new group. A group can consist of one or many stations.
