Orders Menu

Selected from the main Visual Traffic menus screen, the Billing Menu in contains items related to order entry and maintenance. As everything starts with an order for spots, this is a key area of Visual Traffic.

• Bulk Purchases opens the Bulk Purchase Setup dialog, used to set up Bulk Purchases for advertisers. Bulk Purchases are contract commitments that often earn preferred rates or other benefits over extended periods of time.
• Edit Orders opens the Create/Edit Orders dialog, used to enter or edit orders for advertisers.
• Tap Plans opens the Tap Plans Setup dialog, used to enter or edit Total Audience Plans, or multi-daypart rotations.
• Wheel Plans opens the Create/Edit Wheel Plans dialog, used to enter or edit definitions of rotating sponsorship plans.
• Approval Queue opens the Approval Queue dialog, used to approve those orders that require approval.
• Forward Sales Campaigns opens the Forward Sales Campaigns dialog, used to create order or schedule "templates" that can then be used to quickly create orders for multiple advertisers.
• Order Import Queue opens the VT Order Import Queue, which allows you to import into VT orders that have been generated by external order creation software, such as Marketron’ Order Express.

• • Clear Expired Orders opens a Clear Orders dialog, used to remove all end of schedule orders.
  • Deleted Orders opens the View Deleted Orders dialog, used to view the audit trail information of orders that have been deleted from the system.
  • Recalculate opens the Recalculate Order Information dialog, used to recalculate Billing Projections and/or Order to Billing comparisons.
  • Revenue Adjustments opens the Revenue Adjustments dialog, used to add adjustments to revenue that can then be viewed in selected projection reports.
