TAP plans are Total Audience Plans - packages designed to provide a spot coverage that will reach all of the station’s audience by placing spots in all rated dayparts. This ensures the advertiser that the station’s "total audience" hears their message. TAP plans are created by Statement Group. Any station within the group can use the plan definition.
With VT, TAP Plans are easy to create and easy to define on a new order. Just specify the plan, tell the order how many spots to run over a period of time and let VT generate the necessary Spot Pattern definitions automatically!
TAP Plans are applied in order entry on the Spot Pattern definition screen. An order may consist of only a single TAP Plan or the plan and additional Spot Pattern Definitions.
