VT lets you create an unlimited number of Credit Policies, which can then be applied individually to advertisers and agencies. This dialog is used to create or edit those Credit Policies. There are three sets of credit criteria that can be applied, individually or collectively, to create a credit policy. Many companies create separate credit policies for agencies and for direct advertisers. You could also create specific policies for certain types of higher-risk advertisers, such as new businesses without established track records.
VT will automatically evaluate each advertiser and agency against the appropriate policy. When an advertiser or agency violates their designated credit policy, any new orders will automatically be placed in the VT Approval Queue, requiring that they be individually approved before being scheduled.
As long as the System Processor is running, VT runs a credit policy check overnight on all Advertisers and Agencies that have a defined credit policy.
