This dialog is used to define or edit weekly simulcasts – recurring weekly periods of time where the programming of one controller station is simultaneously broadcast on one or more slave stations. Only the controlling station requires a log and spot scheduling for the simulcast period. The slave stations, in fact, have no log during a simulcast segment.
A weekly simulcast is one that airs every week. For one-time simulcasts, use Daily Simulcast Setup,
Weekly Simulcasts are actually log templates. When they are applied to a particular log, the result will be automatically generated Daily Simulcasts for individual log dates.
