HAILEY, Idaho — March 12, 2025 — Marketron, the radio and local media industry leader in revenue operations technology, announced today that its Aspire micro-site won Sales Enablement Content of the Year from the Killer Content Awards. This marks the blog’s second win in this category, having previously earned the distinction in 2023.
The Killer Content Awards honor B2B brands and agencies “building bridges and breaking barriers with creative campaign strategies.” These awards, referred to as Finnys, have been awarded for 14 years by the B2B Marketing Exchange powered by Emerald X. More than 2,200 nominations have been submitted since the inception of the awards, with more than 300 winners. There are 15 categories, and the sales enablement one focuses on recognizing content that empowers sales teams. This year’s nominations included hundreds of applicants, with only one winner per category. The winners were announced at the 2025 B2B Marketing Exchange held in Scottsdale, Ariz., from February 23-26, 2025.
Aspire launched in 2021 as a resource center for Marketron’s audience of sellers and sales managers. It’s a unique take on sales enablement content. The site delivers insights, ideas, tips, strategies and more to those selling digital advertising at the local media level.
The site is currently home to 460 posts, which include articles, infographics, videos, interactive tools, e-books, on-demand webinars, case studies and more. New additions to the blog include an Ask the Expert series where in-house experts offer advice on challenges. Its subscription base rose by 43% in 2024, while views increased by 34.5% and visitors by 20%. Most importantly, Marketron customers have provided many anecdotes of how the site helped them pivot or solve a problem.
Marketron’s director of marketing and content, Beth Osborne, attended the event and awards reception.
