HAILEY, Idaho — April 19, 2024 — Marketron, the radio and broadcast industry’s leading partner for protecting, managing and growing revenue, announced its digital platform has won the Radio World Best of Show award at the 2024 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas. This marks the second time Marketron NXT has received this prestigious industry award.
Radio World reviewed all submission entries via a panel of engineers and editors who visited with finalists during the show. Radio World noted that the award celebrates companies leading the way in media and technology. It showcases pioneering solutions that enable the radio industry to thrive.
NXT previously earned this recognition in 2022. This year’s submission highlighted all the exciting updates and innovations since then. Marketron has invested considerable resources to enhance the platforms that radio depends on for amplifying revenue with digital ad sales.
Marketron CEO Jimshade Chaudhari commented on this achievement. “We’re very proud to receive this recognition for NXT again, especially from the radio industry. There are many digital solutions in the market, but NXT is the only one built specifically for radio broadcasters with deep integration into the Marketron traffic systems to help them efficiently sell, execute and bill their customers for both radio and digital campaigns. We have an amazing team of experts who have worked together to continue to deliver a product to the market that supports the industry’s focus on digital revenue growth.”
Highlights include new tactics such as multiple CTV blends, social display and streaming audio. The platform also added enhanced targeting capabilities. Those include location-based retargeting, Spanish-language options, and polygon targeting for geofencing and video geofencing. Users can now target more precisely in display and video, using relevant and high-quality segments selected by our experts.
Sellers have more choices for creative and custom ad ops requests as well. Premium ad tactics, such as those for restricted categories like cannabis, are now incorporated directly into proposals and orders. NXT’s latest additions provide functionality for multiple campaigns per tactic in one proposal and map-based ZIP code selectors.
This is the second major announcement regarding NXT. On April 11, 2024, Marketron announced that their digital products hit a milestone, processing over $400 million in local media digital advertising sales.
NXT remains the only third-party digital advertising solution designed for radio stations that integrates radio and digital proposals, orders, reporting and invoicing from one login. The pillars of the platform focus on simplicity, automation and performance. NXT integrates with traffic systems, electronic invoicing and payments, orders, CRM (customer relationship management) tools and data management apps. It creates a connected ecosystem for all ad revenue operations.
