This dialog provides a graphical display of the advertisers purchase history and sales goals that you set. This is a very useful function of VT as the sales department is very interested in advertiser patterns. History will automatically be updated as the advertiser purchases are recorded in VT; however, you may enter history information manually if desired. You can always edit goals and enter history adjustments.
If you are just getting started with VT but have advertiser information on past purchase history with your station, the data may be entered anytime after you enter the minimum required advertiser information.
Double-click any history bar to open the Purchase History dialog, where you can view, edit or enter history detail for the specified period. When the monthly display is used (as illustrated), double-click on any goal bar to open a Goal Entry dialog, and then enter or edit that month’s goal.
