The Log Statistics Panel can either be anchored to the main Log Editor screen, or can be a floating dialog that you can position anywhere on your Windows desktop. The illustration shows it expanded to full size.
The Statistics Panel simply shows the totals for a number of log parameters, the most significant being the total value of the spots on the log and the total time available for and used by commercials. As you edit the log, the values in this panel will change to reflect the current status of the log.
