Station Configuration Dialog - Reconciliation Filters Tab
Click on any screen item for more information.

Reconciliation Filters allow you to set controls which will exclude spots from the reconciliation process based on various criteria. These filters allow you to speed up the reconciliation process by skipping events in the audit file that Do not need to be reconciled.
There are several filter types, some of which are available only for certain automation systems. These types are accessed from the tabs on the filters dialog. On each of these tabs, you can double-click an existing filter or right click in the list area to create a new filter. In each instance, you will open the appropriate filter properties dialog.
- Assume Placed sets ranges of cart numbers for spots that are in the export file but will not be returned as played by the audit file. This could include Live spots, for example.
- Cart Filters sets ranges of cart numbers for carts that should be ignored by the reconciliation process, such as music carts, liners, etc.
- Channel sets ranges of "channels" that can be excluded from the reconciliation process. This is used when an automation system has multiple channels, some of which are not air channels. The DCS by Scott Studios/Computer Concepts is one such system.
- Category sets ranges of "categories" that can be excluded from the reconciliation process. This is used when an automation system classifies events or actions into categories, some of which may not be aired events or actions. Some systems from Scott Studios use categories.
