Some Categories are used throughout VT. Addresses, phone numbers, FCC type codes, and product codes are just a few. This is the area where you create and edit the names to use within any category. Many dialogs have the option of creating a Category Name "on-the-spot" by taking you to this dialog without having to exit.
Any Category Name created here will appear everywhere that Name Categories are used in VT. In other words, if an address Category Name is created here, it will appear anywhere address information headings are found.
To view or edit Category Names, first select one of the Categories from the list on the left. Any names defined for the selected Category will then display in the list on the right. Category Names supplied by VT marked with an * are system definitions that cannot be deleted or re-named.
