This dialog lets you perform some very powerful functions. This is where you Close the A/R Month, post finance charge transactions, clear balanced statement transactions, and Post Advertiser Transactions through a given date. All of these are essential to keeping VT running smoothly, and you will use these functions at least once every month.
Many stations take an extra few minutes to backup their VT databases immediately before closing and posting, just in case they need to undo the processes. We recommend you make a database backup a regular part of your month-closing procedure.
It is important that you review this dialog carefully before clicking the OK button to process your transactions.
